spiritual

This is so beautiful man. I'm having troubles thinking of how to reply to this piece. Wow... I can't really express the feelings I get from this song... Sometimes its sad but at others its so uplifting and spiritual. It's simply an amazing piece.

This has more feeling than likely anything I've heard in my life. I can't stop listening. This isn't even my kind of music really but its just so beautiful and meaningful that I don't want it to stop.

Keep up the amazing work.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Thanks man... I haven't written anything in a while... but seeing as I just lost the love of my life... again... I'm sure I can find plenty of frustration to take out on my keyboard.

well...

I'm by no means that great at "creating" music myself but I seem to be good at helping others so I think I can give ya some slight advice here.

First off those claps/hats have go to go or be edited better with less of them, it cheapens up the sound and throws off the feel.

Theres no melody/synth to flow the song. Melodys and Synths are vital to creating great trance and techno beats.

The bass beats are fairly simplistic too... It seems like you just imported sounds from the Fruity loops files and just chose where to have them play, with very little or no editing to the presets of the song.

You have thise kool sound thats... I dunno how to describe it... it plays at relatively the same pace thru the whole loop constantly... I suggest giving this a FX number, then "F9" and add a flanger to it at least. Fiddle with those F9 sound Fx's and such to really make a decent change and effect.

The whole order seems kinda un-ordered and sloppy... but maybe with some fine tuning it might be alright. I know I didn't give a lot of help but its some.

Oh wait... intro's... Slow buildups are a great way to go ;)

BlackLightning responds:

yeah it was just smething i through together a while back ill submit sme more stuff soon :)

Nice!!!

Since when did you know DJ Tiesto? Never knew you guys colaborated :p

But I love the "Traffic" inspired part of the song... fits really weel...

Well you know how I feel about this song. I gave you my biggest crits on msn a lil while ago. This is an amazing song that covers a bunch of slightly diff styles in terms of how the synth/melody's present the form of the song. It's really freakin well done!!!

(lost 1 point origionality for the Tiesto colab ;p)

Pandora-Tranquil responds:

i like to say he got owned at his own song, but dont listen to me =P

of course i didnt collab with him, hes prolly un-touchable, but i hated traffic, an liked its melody.

so heres MY ver, lol

Dude...

Send Tom or Wade an E-mail from your registered email account and tell them your username and pw along with the reason you want your music removed (copyrighting it) and they will take it down. They are very helpful. Just be very clear, very simple and to the point and they should be quite helpful... another AP artist had his stuff removed.

To the song... OMG I shit my pants... this is amazing. I'm loving this. Everything is great. Levels are perfect as I'd expect from you. Freaking crazy synths, another expected thing and a really good flowing pace/bass to the song. But wait a second... I didn't hear your drumroll... Did I miss it or u didn't use it?!?!?! :p

Good Job.

Pandora-Tranquil responds:

i did use it, but more equalized and it was longer, so it built up more.

thanks for being a person who cares enough to review lol i bet u liked the bass =P

Really happy sounding

Not usually my thing but it was actually really good. Not a lot big deal of changes but its such an up-lifting infectious sound I can't help getting into it... I was listening and at first I was like... meh I dun care for it much but after about a minute I noticed my head was bobing and my foot tapping so I was like... "that bastard!" lol

Nice job. Really mellow simplistic beat. keep em coming!

zeeber85 responds:

wow! thanks for the great review! i put a lot of effort into this one and spent a few days atually making sure it was ready to be released. Thanks again for the awsome review!

Nice one man!

The keyboard gave it a real authentic pro feeling like it was being spun. The timing is not PERFECTLY organized like computer generated beats giving it that unique feel that really helps it out and gives it major impressive points! It's pretty trance feeling so yea, its trance. It's a good beat man. I'm really impressed with this.

What some people will say is "timing issues" is what makes this more impressive from the rest. I'm thinking of getting a cheap mixing table to mess around with more hardcore stuff myself... The computer stuff is a lil weird to me and I'm disliking it the more I get into the harder stuff. This is good. I might even have to get me a electronic piano lol. I love piano stuff and seeing as how u can make a kool trance beat on it as well it opens a lot of oportunities.

I'll tell ya more of what I think on MSN cause I'm getting ready to go to my gf's in hamilton. Found out a few hours ago I'm jumping on a plane to go see her lol. Wish me luck!

You should try another trance ;) This is really good! Kepp up the great work!

MilkMan-Dan responds:

lol As a note... he meant to put this review under "A Painful Melody"... his bad. Thanks bud.

Hm...

Very basic but the essentials are there. I'd suggest you keep working on this song for a lil while longer. It has some potential. The beat is rather infectious and I love piano melodys.

I'd really like to see this get developed further. Later in the song it becomes more complete for a while. You really have the hang of the basics. A lil further work on the "filler FX's" would complete this song. Not seeing a bass pad is strange but refreshing. I like the choice in quick bass hits. Really complements the feeling of the song.

What program did you use to make this? I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the file if it were made on FL if I were allowed :p

Well if your willing to let someone else tinker with your project contact me at fuel_f2f@hotmail.com

Good try. A very solid attempt. Keep up the work and keep developing :D

zeeber85 responds:

Hey thanks for the awsome review. It was very informational and yes it was made with FL studio 5. Not sure what more we can add to the song, but if you want i'll send you the fruity file and we can work on it to some more. My AIM is Greensweatshirt5, so you can talk to me there and i can send you the file. Just say who you are so i know.

Not bad...

No offense but unless Dance audio portal listeners download at an extremely higher rate than any other genre here, I don't think that 225 DIFFERENT people downloaded this in 7 days. Sorry but its just not that great.

It's a decent song but it just seems too bland. I lose my interest after a while. You have a good beat starting off but the buildup lacks. It's bassically the bass hits with a pad and one sound coming in twice then that weird noise... but it lasts too long.

The transition afterward worked well. The drumroll was so generic though. My buddy Pandora uses it way too much as well... it seems to be his signature drumroll now. But at least he edits it very nicely.

This song is good but its so basic. I'm guessing 7 patterns max if using FL studio's. No more than 10. This makes a good "demo" but if you put some more time into it, it would be a really good hit. (And I'd believe the DL # lol)

Good luck in future projects.

DJRunaway responds:

Actually 49 patterns... And it isn't Pandora's signature, it's used in almost every commercial production known to men.

Wow

I kinda wasn't sure if you were taking it in the right direction when u made Demo3 but damn man... this is sweet.

I can tell you put a lot of hard work just from the time it took to complete and you've never msg'd me on msn about a submission before.

Wow man, this is rock solid. Lots of changes, this thing never gets old. It's beautiful. I'm literally at a loss for words for how to praise this damn song. If this doesn't get #1 Top 5 Weekly I'll hack A-Bot ;) lol

Well dude you've really outdone yourself. Only thing is now is that you've set a new bar or excellence. Can you stay on this level? ;) heh I know you can. Well dude I think this is your "masterpeice" song so far.

Keep it up B0UNC3, this really r0x0rs my s0x0rs :p

Fuel to fkin Fire

B0UNC3 responds:

With its low score i doubt it'll even be on a-bots weekly favs.Sure i can set the bar even higher if you want..I only said i was exhausted, i didnt say i used up 100% of my capability.

Wow

Your musical ability is A+ and your cuz's singing is wow. She has a good voice... get that girl on american idol or something heh.

Well the song is great. The beat really backs up those great vocals perfectly. I agree, this sounds like an opening for an anime heh.

Well good job! Great job! how old was she when she sang this? She sounds kinda young. Hope she keeps working on her vocals, ya never know who's listening heh.

Great job on both parts.

XayberOptix responds:

you're review is very inspiring. it's encouragement like this that give me all the reasons for continuing with music production. :) thanks for the review!!
