Wow

You've went from a guy that usually took patterns already made and mixing/changing it a bit to someone who can make songs from scratch, and actually be really good at it.

I haven't come by here in a while but wow man, your improving so fast. And your still just a kid :p Keep this up man. Keep improving and experiment with other programs to get a wider range of technical skills. You got the ability to actually try to do something with your music.

I will say something though. I haven't listened to many of your more recent stuff but your old stuff was usually an "evil-trance" style. Though it seemed to be your style, your up-beat and more trippy trance songs were amazingly well done and catchy as hell. If you can develope your skills and actually like making music like this song, and radiate and stuff like this, you can def try to go somewhere with your music. By this I mean much more than just the top of the NG charts heh.

Keep it up man, you got plenty of time to develope your already fast developed skills. Stick with it and you gotta chance.

Sorry this is so long. Just thought I'd express my feelings toward your music and constantly improving style.

Pandora-Tranquil responds:

I fucking love reading your reviews.
it takes somone like u to keep an artist making music.

i have actually been thinking about what i m going to do in college and out of college, and i have thought that i want to make music, however i want to work on games too.

we will see what happens to me, i really want to learn new programs, but the most professional ones (that are required by most video game developers) are very hard to get without spending lots of money.

like pro tools and cubase (i went on monster.com and checked out music making jobs for games) and it was rediculous, they are expensive as fuck, and as far as cubase goes im gonna have to buy it i guess cuz none of their downloads work for me....

thanks very much for reviewing, i ENJOY long reviews, thanks so much for reviewing all that you did.

hope life is goin well for u
peace

Very good

Solid beat man. Not too over the top so its to my taste. I like simple things. If it can sound awesome and is simple then you've def got skill. Thats how I think anyways. I love the melodys in this... I played it over and over again and its just so kool. The bassline is pretty good too, changing for the diff melody's keeps it nice and fresh. Keep these songs coming man!

surfertmex responds:

Thanks for the feedback - simple is my style too, with more focus on melodies/harmonies than d&b. I am glad you enjoyed it, and I look forward to more work from you. :)

Had its moments

A bit odd for my liking... had a few parts where I thought it was well done but a lot of it just seemed strange. I'd write a massive review going over each part but theres really no point for me, I'd have too much to say.

But... I have to be fair, just because its not my style doesn't mean it's not good. For its style I guess its good in its own right. (Trying to be least bias)

Oh and thanks for the "cool ass Techno" in the TRANCE section ;) lol

Keep on sub'n!

staticnoise responds:

Thanks. I appreciate what you had to say, it's still useful to know that parts of it seemed weird to you.

uh, yeah, trance / techno, um... trachno?

Great job

250 tempo... I know damn near all your work and you keep it almost 200 under that for nearly every song heh.

But for your first attempt at such a high beat it turned out very good. The high speed lets you have a lot of freedome don't you think? you can do so much more than usual but it takes a lil longer to make a song. Experimented with high tempo's myself but never saved any of the work.

So yea, keep it up and keep on sub'n!

Pandora-Tranquil responds:

idk wether it was a typo, but it was made at 350 tempo, not 250 =P

thanks for the review, im glad you take the time to check out my new stuff.

thanks

Intro was sweet...

Slowly introducing the sounds peice by peice. Has a really nice flow to it. At first I just tilted my head back, relaxed in my chair and closed my eyes and got lost in the flow. It's just so soothing and relaxing to me. The kinda song I can get lost in. In all honesty this is a massive chillout hit. I'm very enveous of this one. I make a lot of chillout beats that I don't submit but this is just so well put together.

The order of intro's and choice of mixing the diff melody's/synths were just perfectly picked. Gets kinda repetitive but you get so into it, and chilled out you don't really care.

The outro is really well done. I love doing stuff like that myself, a really simple outro where all the sounds slowly leave and one synth stays in the end the song slowly. You know its about to end and yet you want it to keep going. A great feeling to portray because it then causes the listener to listen again and again.

One of the best chillout mixes I've seen on NG.

I really hope u decide to do another chillout sometime. It really flowed well. So different from your regular style to me, but works so greatly.

Keep em coming. I'm highly anticipating your next release.

Pandora-Tranquil responds:

lol thanks, IT MADE THE WEEKLY FAV!!! i cant believe that!

hope i get more reviews.

thanks dude for ur comments, i really like to make songs that u can get lost in (or at least try lol)

thanks again

Waiting... Waiting...

For it to come out full swing and kill my ears... then it pauses and breaks out kinda and builds up more... then! then! piano synth! brilliant!!! It builds up anticipation more and more and gets you really into the song. I love this thing. You went all out with a barrage of sounds, melodys and synths! And it works so beautifully.

BUT!!! Sorry but the song just dies out of nowhere and its playing really really low then it fades in... but at least next time it fades out instead of just cutting out. To me this is where you killed it. It woulda been better with fade out instead of just dropping, and it shouldn't have went so low. The extreme bass u intro'd there was slick and all but I thought my sound card goofed when it cut out at first... I think it would be much better without the volume just dropping. Just my two cents.

This song is really great. Keep em coming and your improvements are def showing.

Pandora-Tranquil responds:

thats what i thought too, i dont know why i didnt change it, however i think you will like what i did to the song.

i made a dnb ish remix of the song, and i will submit it soon, im waiting for more people to hear the origional, but i guess thats not gonna happen...

oh well ill submit it very soon, get on msn to hear it b4 the others.

Slow, creepy, and big bass

Sounds really good. At the beginning there were 2 synth's that seemed to clash a lil to me but it wasn't really noticeable or bad sounding.

The bassline was good, quick 2 hits is seldemn seen nowadays... people seem to like to go with drawn out deep/low bass which is good for testing sub's but isn't really song-like. I like the flow of this song beginnning to end. The transitions were smooth, the song didn't get very repetitive and the wide array of synth's/melodys keep everything fresh and flowing. You did a great job on this one.

Keep em Coming!

Pandora-Tranquil responds:

lol

its so weird, so so many people say my songs are "creepy" or "evil sounding"

so i went back and listened to it yet again, and now i know why, in 80% of my songs, i have a few dark pads, or low noises.

well armageddeon(remixed) will definately be evilish, lol

thanks for the review, even tho u heard it b4 any others on msn lol

PaNdOrA

I love it!!!

You've taken my song and made it better ten-fold!

Wow... just wow!!! great job!

Pandora-Tranquil responds:

thx of course, its all ur credit.

noones gonna listen to this tho, sorry lol it has like 2 downloads

Very good

But too short =/
I really liked the beat, and the whole thing blended together beautifully. If this was an .flp file I'd love to get my hands on it :p

Great song, but make a full version of at least 3 minutes :D
